At Rentals Drive, we strive to provide flexible and transparent booking options for all customers. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms that apply when you modify, cancel, or request a refund for your car rental reservation. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the conditions described below.
1. Cancellation by Customer
Customers may cancel their reservation by contacting our support team or using the cancellation feature available on our website. The eligibility for refunds depends on the timing of the cancellation:
Free Cancellation Period: Cancellations made within the specified free-cancellation window—usually 24 to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time—are eligible for a full refund.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made after the free-cancellation period may incur a cancellation fee or result in a partial refund, depending on the vehicle type, rental duration, and seasonal demand.
No-Show Policy: If a customer fails to collect the vehicle at the scheduled time without prior notice, the reservation will be marked as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
2. Modifications to Reservations
Reservation changes such as altering pickup times, vehicle categories, or rental duration are subject to availability. Modifications may affect the rental price. If the new reservation cannot be accommodated, the original cancellation rules will apply.
3. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your account. We are not responsible for delays caused by external financial institutions.
4. Cancellation by Company
In rare circumstances, Rentals Drive may cancel a reservation due to unforeseen issues such as vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or technical errors. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or be offered an equivalent replacement vehicle at no additional cost.
5. Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain promotional or discounted bookings may be labeled as non-refundable. These reservations cannot be cancelled or modified once confirmed.
